1. Informed Consent and Disclaimer

Ecoventure provides a variety of activities including, but not limited to: windsurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, rafting, beach games, survival skills, sailing, high ropes course, abseiling, rock climbing, zip wire, volleyball, football, rugby, obstacle course, sand boarding, caving, swimming, team building exercises, orienteering, night walks, nature trails, camping, cooking, banana boat rides, house boat, fishing, snorkelling, archery, mountain biking, collection of plant and animal samples, journeying in motor coaches, 4x4 vehicles, saloon vehicles, auto rickshaws, dhows, fishing vessels, hiking in various surroundings (wadis, mountains, desert, roads, rain forests), and attendance at Birds of Prey shows/Wildlife centres. By participating, you consent to the use of images for promotional purposes. Ecoventure carries a Public Liability Insurance Policy covering activities up to $1,000,000 (USD) in the UAE and up to $3,000,000 (USD) in other locations.

2. Registration

2.1. Completion of the registration form indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions, including the informed consent and disclaimer.

2.2. Registrations must be made via Ecoventure’s registration/payment platform in advance.

2.3. Discount codes must be applied at the time of booking.

2.4. The registration form must be filled out by the parent or legal guardian of each participant.

2.5. Participants without a completed registration form will not be covered under Ecoventure’s insurance.

2.6. Relevant information collected on the online consent form will be shared with suppliers only if needed to complete their service (e.g., dietary information).

3. Payment

3.1. Payment should be made directly via the registration/payment platform at the time of registration.

3.2. Bookings are cancelled after 1 hour if no payment is made.

4. Refunds and Non-Attendance

4.1. Refund requests must be made via www.ecov.co/refunds.

4.2. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the day of attendance will receive a 95% refund or 100% credit upon request.

4.3. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the day of attendance will receive a 50% refund or 100% credit upon request.

4.4. Non-attendance without notification will not receive a refund.

4.5. No refunds for part attendance of any booking.

4.6. Notify Ecoventure of non-attendance by 10 am on the day to request a 100% credit note against a future week.

4.7. Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the last booked date.

5. Activities

5.1. Activities mentioned in promotional material are indicative and not guaranteed to run every week.

5.1.1. Kayaking

5.1.1.1. Kayaking only takes place at Kings Al Barsha and for students aged 7 years and over.

5.1.2. Climbing

5.1.2.1. Climbing only takes place at Kings Al Barsha and for students aged 7 years and over.

6. Force Majeure

Ecoventure will not be liable for any delay, change, or cancellation of activities due to Force Majeure, which includes circumstances beyond reasonable control such as war, riot, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, disease, adverse weather conditions, fire, and strikes. Ecoventure reserves the right to change or cancel activities due to Force Majeure or government advice.

7. Behaviour & Safety

7.1. Ecoventure operates a 3-strike rule for behavior management and reserves the right to exclude any student if their behavior leads to safety concerns.

7.1.2. Verbal abuse from students or their parents may also result in exclusion.

8. Additional Support for Learning or Behavioral Needs

8.1. Ecoventure cannot provide 1:1 support staff. Any 1:1 support provided by parents must be agreed in advance and the support staff must provide an Emirates ID and police clearance certificate at least 2 days prior to the camp.
